Terms of Service

Effective date: April 11, 2026

1. What Dial Is

Dial is a daily email newsletter operated by Jack Sullivan ("we," "us," "our"). When you sign up at getdialed.news, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't subscribe.

2. How It Works

You give us your email address. We send you a daily news digest, typically around 6:00 AM Eastern Time. You can optionally choose topics and a reading format. If you skip those choices, you'll receive a general-interest edition.

3. Your Account

You need a valid email address to subscribe. You're responsible for access to your inbox. Don't sign up other people without their permission. We reserve the right to remove accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or generated by bots.

4. Content

Our newsletter content is generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence and curated from third-party news sources. We aim for accuracy but do not guarantee that every statement is error-free. Dial is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including legal, financial, or medical.

We may include clearly labeled advertising or sponsored content in our emails. Ad content is provided by third-party partners and does not constitute our endorsement of any product or service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Dial name, logo, newsletter design, and original written content are our property. You're welcome to share excerpts with attribution. You may not republish entire newsletters, scrape our content for commercial use, or use our brand assets without permission.

6. Your Data

We collect your email address, topic preferences, format preferences, and basic engagement data (such as whether you opened an email). We use this information to deliver and improve the newsletter. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

7. Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by visiting your preferences page. We will stop sending emails promptly after you unsubscribe. We honor all unsubscribe requests.

8. What We Don't Promise

We provide Dial on an "as is" basis. We don't guarantee that emails will arrive at a specific time, that content will cover any particular topic on any given day, or that the service will be uninterrupted. We do our best, but things break sometimes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dial and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us (which, on the free tier, is zero).

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless Dial and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or your reliance on newsletter content for any decision, including financial, legal, or medical decisions.

11. Disputes

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us at hello@getdialed.news first. We'll try to resolve it informally. If we can't, any legal proceedings will be governed by the laws of the State of New York and brought in the courts located in New York County, New York.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll note the new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Dial after changes constitutes acceptance.
